GrenkeLeasing saw profit after tax total €19.6 million in the
first three quarters of the year, the company has announced.
The amount, compared with €24.9 million in the same period last
year, was “in line with expected development”, the German lessor
said.
In the nine months to the end of September, GrenkeLeasing saw
net interest income rise by 6.2 percent to €54 million, a strong
result considering the state of the market.
“Market conditions have improved again noticeably, so over the
course of the third quarter we focused more intensively on driving
growth – but without ignoring our strict consideration of risks,”
the company said.
GrenkeLeasing’s equity ratio increased from 16.9 percent to 17.7
percent, which, the lessor said, “forms a good base from which we
start growing new business”.
