Former National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) chair Adam Tyler has launched an SME funding platform called FinancemyBusinessonline.co.uk.
The platform will offer finance from over 90 lenders in the UK, based on the relationships Tyler developed during his tenure at the NACFB.
The tech behind the site runs from a white label agreement with FinPoint, a German finance platform, using the algorithms developed there to run an instant quote for SME owners based their information, and lead generation for funders.
The business has a flat fee of £1,000 payable by funders, with all leads generated by the site free for funders to access and free for SME business owners to engage with asset finance and invoice finance, as well as other forms of business banking.
Tyler told Leasing Life that his desire was to popularise access to finance for business, based on his close workings with parliamentarians during the development of the business referral scheme entailed in the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015.
Although www.financemybusinessonline.co.uk launches as a lead generation site, Tyler said that the next phases of the site's development would include easier access to a regulated commercial finance broker via sponsorship.

By GlobalData“For all of those that know me, they are aware of how passionate I am about raising the awareness of the range of finance that is available to all small business owners and how they need to be directed to the many ways in which it can be accessed quite easily,” he said.
“I have already taken this finance platform to MP’s in Westminster in my bid to continue to highlight the opportunities that exist for small business owners. The first SME group to have direct access to the site will go live in early February and all of those providing finance to SME’s whether directly or through authorised brokers will begin to benefit soon.”
