CHP launches version 4.6

Following the successful six-month review of its ALFA Systems
technology platform, CHP Consulting, a software and services
provider to the asset finance industry, has announced the latest
version of the flagship product, version 4.6 of ALFA.

The new system includes a range of functions to aid business
development and efficient deal processing. ALFA’s business rules
engine makes processes more flexible by allowing business users to
define and modify business logic that previously required
intervention from programmes, and the new system also allows for
further automation in workflow so that many different tasks, such
as fee generation and letter production, can be done
simultaneously.

Furthermore, the new version of ALFA caters for web
originations, with online proposal submission and bidirectional
interfaces to feed in new business from external systems via the
internet. ALFA 4.6 is also compliant with a range of global
markets, with support in terms for systems such as US GAAP, sales
tax, income and property taxes.

Andrew Denton, sales and marketing director of CHP Consulting,
said: “The themes we keep hearing from the industry are about the
need to operate efficiently in a broad range of regulatory
environments, while constantly evolving business processes and
products.

“The major elements of this release target those themes and are
accompanied by exciting developments in many areas, including
further advances in web and workflow.”
