Job Description: J2550 – Our client is seeking a Senior Account Manager, IT to build business relations with their technology and office equipment partners, You will business develop new relationships, develop newly acquired partners and provide full account management. This field-based role, suiting a candidate with drive, ambition and a winning attitude. Excellent Salary, Bonus and Benefits. Location: UK, Manchester, Leeds or Newcastle. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Collaborate with UK Program managers to close pipeline and leverage program opportunities to further business relationships.
Initiate, develop and grow new business relations using a range of contacts, referrals and direct channels: to have the confidence to cold call, use social media intuitively and network for good referrals.
We expect you to design and lead your own marketing initiatives to formulate sales objectives, showing resourcefulness and self-motivation.
A thorough understanding of the ‘prospect funnel’ and a respect for the time taken to nurture and develop relationships at each stage.
A thorough understanding of the partner supply chain, routes to market ‘best practices’, policies and compliance issues, paired with a fine eye for detail.
Excellent account management experience, including pipeline and portfolio management, data analysis and multi-level contact strategies recorded on CRM.
Overall responsibility for day-to-day operation for ensuring partner satisfaction across all elements of the business transaction lifecycle: Sales, Credit, Documentation/Funding and Partner Incentives etc.
Develop and provide training to partner sales teams.
Drive regular agenda led onsite review meetings to review key metrics and build effective partnerships.
Identify, propose and implement additional capabilities within the Channel Partner business model to create increased value add for the reseller and their customers in the selling and promoting of lease services.
Drive reseller digital adoption by promoting usage of digital platforms to enhance sales experience and streamline business processing. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Proven experience of building exceptional corporate business relationships with confidence, tenacity and attention to detail.
First-hand knowledge of leasing, or associated areas, such as selling leasing for vendors or partners.
In-depth experience of working on contract negotiations, including dealing with complex terms and conditions.
Wide-ranging knowledge of the technical market.
Proven communication skills at all levels in business, particularly senior and director level.
Experience of using social media, paired with comprehensive researching skills.
Proven track record of exceptional performance, high productivity and meeting deadlines.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Experience at building business development strategy for / with channel partners.
Analyse market segment, identify target opportunities, contribute to country market and sales plan.
We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
