International law firm Watson, Farley &
Williams has expanded their Paris-based asset finance team with two
new appointments as they seek to enhance expertise in this
area.
Eric Villateau joins as partner from SNR
Denton’s Banking and Finance department and Emi Dagogo joins the
asset finance team as associate from United Nations Conference for
Trade and Development in Geneva.
Their appointments take the number of lawyers
in the asset finance team to nine. Laurence Martinez-Bellet,
partner and head of WFW Paris said the expansion is aligned with
the firm’s sector-focused strategy.
“The Paris office works across a broad range
of sectors including shipping, aviation, energy and
infrastructure.
“We have seen an increasing amount of
instructions, particularly those requiring asset, structured,
project, acquisition and trade finance expertise.
“Eric and Emi’s combined experience in French
and English law is a natural fit with the other lawyers in our
asset finance team in Paris.”
