UK fleet management provider Tusker has launched a salary sacrifice car scheme specifically designed for medium sized businesses called ‘Accelerate’.

This new salary sacrifice product is designed for companies employing between 250 and 1000 people.

"Larger companies can also sign up for Accelerate, providing them an ‘express option’ to introduce salary sacrifice very quickly because of the shortened and simplified implementation process," the company wrote.

Accelerate works in exactly the same way as Tusker’s Salary Sacrifice for Cars (SS4C) scheme, where employees are provided with all their motoring needs, including insurance, maintenance and early termination protection for a fixed monthly reduction to their salary.

David Hosking, chief executive officer for Tusker, said: "Up until now there hasn’t been a salary sacrifice product that is suitable for mid-sized businesses. The demands of tailoring schemes properly for large employers and the detailed implementation process has meant that they are not usually viable for employers with fewer than 1,000 eligible employees. With Accelerate we have designed a scheme that works ‘out of the box’. It’s ready to go immediately, giving employees instant access to information, videos, case studies, quotes and orders."
