UK fleet management provider Tusker’s salary sacrifice 4 cars (SS4C) scheme saw its highest number of new car orders and its largest order bank in the company’s history during the first quarter of 2014.

Over the period, Tusker said it added 700 vehicles to its traditional contract fleet to over 10,000.

Overall, the number of schemes in operation grew to over 155, up 55%, over the previous twelve months, with the company crediting its SS4C scheme with the bulk of this growth.

Iain Carmichael, chief commercial officer at Tusker noted "This has been an outstanding first four months of 2014 for Tusker with new records being achieved for every key performance indicator that we have set.

"We are now delivering record levels of growth and profit and are confident we are on track to deliver our stretching plans, for future growth and profitability."

Tusker said it plans to deliver a further 50 salary sacrifice schemes by the end of 2014.
