Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance has appointed Jeremy Uphill as portfolio and structuring director and Tony Young as regional sales director for London and the South East region.
Uphill joined from Barclays, where he spent 32 years working across the personal and corporate banking and asset-based lending divisions. In his new role, Uphill will provide ongoing management and support to his portfolio of clients.

Young joined Secure Trust Bank with over 16 years’ experience in asset based lending roles at companies including IBM, NatWest, and GE Capital. Most recently, he spent four years working for Shawbrook Bank Business Credit, specialising in asset-based lending and structured finance deals.
As regional sales director for London and the South East, Tony will work with his network of contacts in identifying and structuring ABL opportunities across the region.
Over the past 12 months STB said its Commercial Finance arm recorded over £55m worth of lending in its first full year’s trading.
