Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance has appointed Richard Foote as its regional managing director for London and the South East.

Foote joins the bank from ABN AMRO Commercial Finance where he was director of origination and structuring in the firms London office.

He focused on structuring and transacting asset-based lending (ABL) facilities domestically and in Europe and during his five years at ABN, held senior origination and portfolio management roles.

Prior to this, Foote worked in the advisory arm of PwC where he qualified as a chartered accountant and specialised in corporate restructuring and debt and capital advisory.

In his role at Secure Trust Bank, he will be responsible for developing and implementing the local strategy and leading the dedicated relationship and origination teams based in London and the South East, providing ABL facilities between £1 and £50m

Secure Trust Bank offers asset-based lending to businesses across the country, with regional offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds.
