Leaseurope has appointed Jukka Salonen as chair for the remainder of the current term following the resignation of Massimiliano Moi.
Salonen, chief executive of Nordea finance, will hold the role until October 2014, having previously served as chair from 2010 to 2012.

Moi stepped down from the position following his departure from Unicredit Leasing to work in another sector within Unicredit Group.
Three other appointments were made to the Board of Directors to serve for the same period as Salonen: Laurent Bonnaure, chief operating officer of Fraikin Group, Enrico Duranti, chief executive of Iccrea Bancalmpresa, and Arkadiusz Etryk, managing director of Raiffeisen Leasing Poland.
Salonen said it was "an honour" to re-assume the chairmanship, and he knows he can rely on Leasurope’s member associations, the board, and secretariat staff, and he looks forward "to working together in order to further develop the five pillars of our ambitious strategic plan, i.e. lobby, platform, communications, membership and research."
He added: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Massimiliano Moi for his commitment and efforts in contributing to a strong pan-European Federation which is recognised more than ever as the competent and knowledgeable voice of the industry."
