Metro Bank has appointed James Harrowsmith as head of corporate transport, and Nora Everidge as head of operations and sales support, in a bid to boost its asset finance team.
Harrowsmith will be responsible for developing the corporate transport sector while Everidge will be tasked with developing the support and operations functions of Metro Bank’s asset finance arm. They will both report to Nathan Mollet, head of asset finance at Metro Bank.
Nathan Mollet, head of asset finance at Metro Bank said: “They bring a wealth of experience in their respective fields and a real commitment to helping businesses expand and develop; I’d like to warmly welcome both of them.”
Harrowsmith has previously worked at Close Brothers, Lloyds Bank, and Eddie Stobart, and will join from BLME where he served as head of commercial vehicle leasing.
Everidge was head of internal sales and support at Aldermore, and has also worked at Close Brothers, ING Lease UK, and GE Capital European Equipment Finance.
The appointments follow Metro Bank’s decision to pledge £30m (€36m) for the professional services over the next 18 months, supported by LDF.
