LTi Technology Solutions, an in-the-cloud leasing platform provider for equipment finance companies, is to be the grand tour sponsor for AFPA Trust’s 1st Virtual Cycle Tour of Britain, the company said in a statement.
The event is organised by Mark Lyons Recruitment and all money raised will be donated to The Christie Charitable Fund, a UK-based cancer research body.
During the Virtual Cycle Tour of Britain, fundraising participants have the flexibility to choose how and when they ride including stationary bicycles for those who prefer that option. The event will include seven (stage) days of riding from 7 am on 7 May to 9.30 pm on 13 May 2021.
All riders’ mileage will be aggregated to see how much of Britain the riders can cover.
Mark Lyons, who was diagnosed with cancer and was treated at The Christie three years ago, said: “I met some amazing staff and courageous patients at the Christie. This event will remind me of the fantastic people I have met and those who are sadly no longer with us.
“This ride is for all those individuals cancer took from us and to support all the future patients at The Christie. This is for you!”
