London’s Claridge’s hotel played host to leasing industry
celebration with a difference last month when the third annual Ladies in Leasing
dinner and wine tasting event.
The event, hosted by recruitment managers
of New Leaf Search, allowed the ladies of the leasing world to
“relax, network, and share ideas” as they wined and dined in the
Mayfair suite.

Katherine Amin, New Leaf Search’s
recruitment director, said the event gave her firm the opportunity to thank
the women for their co-operation and
support – “whether the relationship is relatively new or
long-standing.”
The guests’ feedback was
congenial all
round as the
event, which
included dinner at Gordon Ramsay’s Claridge’s
restaurant, was described as “brilliant”
by Louise
Hamilton of Singers Healthcare
Finance.
Kirsty Westerholm-Smyth, of Bank of America Merrill Lynch,
described the night as a delightful and generous
evening and said: “The wine, food and company were just
fantastic.”
Opening the evening, Jane Theobald, recruitment
director for New Leaf Search, said “We all know the leasing
industry is very male dominated, and it’s not too often that us
ladies – especially those of us in non-sales roles – are given the
opportunity to enjoy corporate events such as this.”
