The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) have announced a series of public roundtables on their revised proposals on lease accounting.

There will be a meeting on 16 September 2013 at the IASB’s London office in Cannon Street, as well as meetings in Sao Paulo, Norwalk, Los Angeles and Singapore.

The meetings, part of the Boards’ due process on exposure drafts, will allow preparers, auditors, investors, and other interested parties to discuss the proposals in more detail.

The deadline for registration is 22 July, with times to be announced, and the Boards will make an audio recording of each roundtable available on their websites.
