Challenger bank Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has moved its central London headquarters from Cannon Street to Finsbury Square, a move it says will support future growth for its commercial lending.

The new offices for the asset finance, commercial finance and property finance bank will be located in 131 Finsbury Pavement.

The 30 year old bank was acquired in May 2014 by investment company Alchemy.

Chief executive officer of the bank Mark Sismey-Durrant said "This relocation signifies an important step on our journey from a small Fareham based bank to a national player with space to expand in our specialist areas."
