DF Capital, a specialist bank known for its inventory financing, is celebrating a key milestone as its managing director of leisure Ian Martin reaches a 30-year tenure in the industry.
Martin’s career started at Chartered Trust, where he managed motor and leisure customers, eventually becoming a founding member of the company’s caravan team in 1994.

Throughout his three decades in the industry, Martin’s experience has allowed him to observe the growth and development of family-run businesses within the sector.
Martin notes a significant reduction in the number of manufacturers and dealers, attributing this to consolidation and retirement.
He said: “There are two key reasons: the great people I’ve met and the continuous opportunities for career growth.
“These factors have kept me engaged and fulfilled, so I’ve never felt the need to look elsewhere.”
