Construction Plant Finance (CPF), a joint venture between SKM Asset Finance and Corporate Asset Solutions, has signed its first vendor finance deal.
CPF will partner JC Mac to provide it with a fully branded vendor sales-aid program for its range of backhoe loaders, tracked excavators and wheeled loaders for the UK’s construction machinery market.
JC Mac is based in Warwickshire and was set up recently by founder Joshua McNally. It will be importing its own branded range of construction equipment from Turkish machinery giant, Cukurova group; which has been in the industry for 50 years.
JC Mac officially launches this month (October 2018) at UK Construction Week (Stand B50).
CPF was set up to offer competitive flexible finance solutions to the construction plant and equipment industry.
The company has autonomy from any manufacturer and is strategically poised to support multiple vendors in the construction equipment sector, with the ability to be agile in rolling out similar schemes.

By GlobalData“It is still early days for Construction Plant Finance and we are obviously thrilled to partner with JC Mac through the provision of a fully branded sales-aid program. We will also be assisting them in sourcing a nationwide network of dealers. CPF’s strategy is to support multiple vendors within the construction sector and I am sure JC Mac will be the first of many new relationships,” says Steve Moody, Construction Plant Finance.
While CPF is still a relatively new name, the customer-facing directors running the company have decades of experience in both the finance and construction industry, and this was pivotal to securing the partnership with JC Mac.
JC Mac’s founder and managing director, Joshua McNally, said: “We have decided to go with CPF on an exclusive financial basis because of the synergies between both our companies. Both are in their infancy, both are commercially attuned, and we share a commercial philosophy which puts the customer at the heart of our decision.” He also added: “We wish to grow together and believe that the personal attention that Steve (Moody) gives, coupled with his wealth of experience within our industry, knits together perfectly with what we are looking for and together we look forward to an exciting future.”
