BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions has appointed the UK head for Rental Solutions, the lessor’s unit for commercial vehicle leasing.
Benoit Laflamme has taken over from Ian Barker, who was appointed to the role in February of last year. He joined in from Element Fleet Management in Paris, where he was vice president for global business development, leading the Canadian lessor’s expansion abroad.

As a Canadian, Laflamme spent most of his career in the country, handling Element’s client relations between 2012 and 2015 and working at Volvo Financial Services and GE Capital before that.
As head of Rental Solutions in the UK, he will be in charge of enhancing digital tools and introducing new products such as “total fleet management”.
