The Leasing Foundation has announced communications expert and leadership coach David Thompson as the closing speaker at its first annual conference in London.
Thompson, the director of Total Awareness Coaching, will end the event, hosted by RBS in London on 30 September, with a talk on ‘establishing credibility’: and will talking about the challenges involved in winning customer trust, building relationships with stakeholders and influencing opinion.

Peter Thomas, chief operating officer of the Leasing Foundation, said the not-profit organisation had started a lively debate on the perception of leasing, including a lack of focused strategies, the need for an industry "raison d’etre" and the need to innovate.
He added: "David will provide a distinctive and inspiring viewpoint on these issues, based on extensive knowledge and experience in other industries, showing how leasing and asset finance can understand and communicate more effectively."
