Close Brothers Asset Finance has appointed machine broker specialist, Neil Ainge, to the role of regional manager of its finance for industry team, part of the manufacturing division.

Ainge’s appointment is part of the firm’s continued strategy of strengthening its sales teams with sector specialists.

Ainge has over 30 years’ experience in financial services, with the last 12 years spent with an asset finance and insurance brokerage where he specialised in the sale of machine tools to the engineering sector.

Neil Ainge said: “I’m really looking forward to working closely with our customers, offering them a guided approach to ensure they purchase an asset that is a sound investment and works for their business.”

Chris Lillico, sales director of Close Brothers Asset Finance’s manufacturing division, said: “Neil is an exciting and timely addition to the team because he’s a proven expert who can hit the ground running. He brings with him a wealth of experience and we will be looking to capitalise on both his finance and extensive industry knowledge and contacts. Neil will be operating under the Finance for Industry banner, noting his strong broker background.”

“Bringing Neil on board is a continued demonstration of our long-standing commitment to supporting the manufacturing SME community.”
