Close Brothers Asset Finance (AF) has appointed an area sales manager for the north of Scotland.
Alistair McCallum has joined from Santander UK’s commercial banking division, where he had been asset finance director since 2015.
His roles prior to this include truck sales specialist at Mercedes Benz Commercial Vehicles as well as asset finance partner at Clydesdale Bank.
As area sales manager, he will be responsible for The Angus, Aberdeen, Moray, Inverness, the Highlands and the Scottish islands.
Jackie Cooke, managing director of the Scotland team at Close Brothers AF, said: “The know-how [Alistair] has built up and local knowledge in developing strong relationships with businesses of all sizes and types has stood him in good stead and will be invaluable in dealing with anyone looking for sound advice and assistance.
“Close Brothers Asset Finance is looking to add real value to the business community in the area with a flexible and streamlined approach to supporting and funding small to medium enterprises as they look to finance various assets, covering every sector of business and commerce.”
