UK-based remarketing company CD Auction Group has launched a buyers’ app targeted at brokers in the motor finance trade.
The company has seen the numbers of dealers accessing its digital online-only sales from mobile devices double in the last 12 months, now accounting for 35% of all bids.
They have launched the app to provide additional functionality that can’t be delivered through a browser, such as allowing users to purchase a vehicle as soon as it is added to the live database.
The ‘CD Buyer’ app gives dealers access to cars and commercial vehicles sourced from fleets, daily rental and leasing companies across the UK.
Andy Brown, managing director, CD Auction Group, said: “The app launch is the start of an accelerated digital development programme that will make CD Auction the easiest company to do business with in the UK.”
Other functions include, users can search by location and choose to receive alerts on cars they have bid on before the end of the sale and a buying and bid history can be viewed at any time.
