Yorkshire-based credit broker Bluestone Leasing has launched a prepaid reward card on 1 October as part of its Spark incentive scheme.

Spark is the reward scheme offered by Bluestone Leasing to valued partners and professional introducers.

Replacing the existing points-based scheme, registered members earning rewards will be issued with a prepaid Visa card with a host of added benefits including 5% cashback across 50+ retailers, 2.5% off selected grocery shopping, a top-up facility, Apple and Google Pay enabled systems, and a dedicated app to manage the account.

Bluestone Leasing works with over 600 partners across a wide range of sectors including, interiors, technology, health and fitness and renewable energy, all of whom could benefit from Spark rewards.

Spark membership is strictly subject to a signed Bluestone Leasing trading agreement.  Spark members take personal responsibility for declaring rewards to HRMC for tax purposes.

Bluestone Leasing should not be confused with the Ireland-based Bluestone Asset Finance.

Online retailer Amazon is planning a small business customer credit card to support its relationship as a supplier of SMEs, according to reports.

Bloomberg reported that the e-commerce site has been in talks with JPMorgan Chase & Co. on a co-branded credit card for small business owners who shop on its website.
