Just over two months after the departure of the head of the material handling asset finance team, UK bank Aldermore has hired Emma Irving as a replacement and announced the appointment of two others to senior positions in the business.
Irving joins Aldermore from BNP Paribas and has over 15 years experience in the industry. She will replace Andrew Woodward who it is understood moved to Investec in October.
Irving’s appointment is part of a strategy to see the asset finance business lend over £750m (900m) in 2014.
In addition, Nova Everidge has been appointed as the head of new business origination at Aldermore and joins from Close Asset Finance. Everidge has over 20 years experience in the industry and has gained her expertise in companies such as ING Lease and GE Capital over that period.
The third senior appointment is Hayley Pearson who will be the head of servicing and support following an internal promotion. Previous to working for Aldermore, Pearson worked in asset finance at Barclays and Asset Advantage.
