UK IT finance provider Syscap has secured
a position as exclusive finance provider for the reseller channel
of Computer 2000, the UK’s largest trade-only distributor of IT and
related products.
The white label financing programme will run
for an initial period of three years, during which Syscap will use
its Syscap Online trading platform to build a finance offering into
Computer 2000’s sales process.

As a result, Computer 2000’s resellers will be
able to offer finance on over 30,000 products, including related
services and maintenance, covering purchases ranging from £3,000 to
£1m and above.
Syscap CEO Philip White said the deal had
given his company the “exclusive right” to provide finance for
“thousands of IT vendors and potentially millions of end
customers”.
Computer 2000 is the UK arm of global
technology distributor Tech Data and enjoyed revenues of £1 billion
in the UK over 2009. Syscap already operated several vendor
programmes on equipment distributed by the company prior to the new
deal.
