These links, as any self-respecting internet idler will know, appear in their hundreds in every Wikipedia entry whenever a word or concept which has an entry of its own appears in the text.

The two entries – one a financial product designed to support capital expenditure in business, and the other a branch of modern literary theory exploring the representation of women and the sexual politics of language in fiction – are at opposite ends of the most irregular of thought spectrums, I am sure the reader will agree.
The path from one to another must twist like a snake in a nightclub in 1961.
Nonetheless, this one I managed in five moves. Here is one way to do it (for there may be many) to get you into the swing of things:
From Leasing head straight to Personal Property. My thinking here was feminism, and therefore feminist literary criticism, grew from a long history of oppression of the female sex and part of that was the denial of personal property. This is not necessarily the mindset you need for this game, but I wholly recommend taking it way too seriously.
From Personal Property I threw all of that thinking out the window and leapt to Socialism. The rationale is clear: feminism is a socio-political philosophy as is socialism so there may be a connection on the page.
This lead me straight to Political Movement and from there, brimming with excitement, I clicked the link to Feminism.
From here there were a few wrong turns taken. I tried the entry for A Handmaid’s Tale in the tantalisingly close Literature sub-section, part of the Feminist Culture section, but with no luck.
Going with my basic secondary school French I then tried the link Écriture Feminine. But alas, I had just two moves left and could find no way reach Feminist Literary Criticism. I then tried the considerable less intellectual sounding Women’s writing in English page but again got nowhere.
Desperately, I scrolled back to the top of the page when I came across a big shiny link to Literary Criticism under the sub-heading of Feminist Theory – I was nearly there.
And lo! The link, showing as ‘Literary Criticism’, directed me to Feminist Literary Criticism.
Beware, Wikipedia is apparently on to this game and will sometimes have the wording of a link read differently from the actual link heading.
And I was there; from Leasing to Feminist Literary Criticism in five clicks of the mouse.
Leasing > Personal Property > Socialism > Political Movement > Feminism > Feminist Literary Theory
I experience a fleeting burst of triumph as my competitors fumble around the page for Truck (disambiguation).
