International law firm Stephenson Harwood has
expanded its asset finance practice in Paris with four new
hires.

Alain Gautron and Stéphane Salou join as
partners and Serge Rastorgoueff and Linda Bessa as new
associates.

Gautron is an asset finance lawyer with
experience in continental leasing. He previously headed Norton
Rose’s shipping finance practice in Paris.

Stéphane Salou has knowledge of tax
structuring of domestic and cross-border tax-based leasing of
equipment and French real estate for lessees and for French and
foreign equity investors.

The new hires – all from Norton Rose – join
partners Richard Pearson and Edward Campbell, who specialise in
asset and project finance in the shipping, offshore, aviation and
renewable energy sectors.
