Syscap launches school carbon offsetting programme
Independent IT financier Syscap has announced a programme to offset carbon emissions for all of the IT equipment that it leases to schools within the UK. Czech leasing down by 29%
Czech lessors provided a total of CZK 41.8 billion (1.6 billion) of finance in the first quarter of 2009, some 29 percent down year-on-year, according to the latest data from the Czech Leasing and Financing Association (CLFA). ABC to market more Islamic products
Bahrain-based ABC Bank has announced that it will begin marketing Islamic financial products to European clients that have found themselves constrained by the sustained gridlock in the credit markets. We are aiming to target the wholesale market, especially companies in Europe that are interested in seeking Islamic finance solutions, for example sukuk, leasing, and general corporate facilities,” said Faisal Alshowaikh, the newly- appointed head of Islamic financial services at ABC International.
