Haydock Finance, a prominent asset finance expert, revealed that it will continue to support the great charity ‘My Life’, which is headquartered in Standish, Wigan.
The charity was the first to be selected as part of Haydock’s employee charity programme, which allows employees to assist a charity or organisation in which they are active or linked.
The lives of kids, teens, and adults—with or without disabilities—are made better by My Life.
They offer a variety of initiatives designed to lessen social isolation by bringing people together for education, fostering relationships, boosting self-esteem, and developing independence.
Horseback riding is one of the things they provide, and it happens on-site at their Riding for the Disabled Association-approved equestrian center.
For the members of My Life, horseback riding offers several therapeutic and health advantages. It can help to increase wellness and enhance physical ability, communication skills, and confidence.

Moreover, Haydock has acquired two saddle pads from specialty saddler manufacturer Thorn because traditional riding saddle designs frequently impede manoeuvrability. The sleek form of the pad promotes better balance and flexibility and makes mounting and dismounting easier for riders.
Lea Lawrence, Haydock’s Marketing Manager said: “We are very proud to be able to support the My Life charity for a second year. The innovative opportunities they provide are enriching and inspiring. Horse riding plays an important role as it provides lots of therapeutic and health benefits. It was great to see what a difference the saddle pads make to the riders who have difficulty coordinating and a favouring to one side of the body.”
Caroline Tomlinson, founder, and CEO of the My Life charity added: “The saddle pads are a wonderful gift from Haydock finance they will be used to enable individuals with disabilities to improve posture, core strength and balance. This transfers so well to daily living and enables our riders to develop confidence and widen their independent living skills. This kind contribution will make a huge difference to so many individuals who have discovered the joy of riding and being with horses – thank you Haydock finance.”
