GreatAmerica Financial Services has bolstered its connected technology division with the addition of experienced industry professionals.
The division will now be led by Jonathan Fales, who joins as vice president and general manager. Fales, a senior executive with over 47 years of experience across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, most recently served as a divisional president. His career also includes roles as a partner with The Alta Group and as an executive at IBM Global Financing. Fales is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.
In this new role, Fales will manage and grow GreatAmerica’s presence in the technology sector while expanding into the value-added reseller (VAR) and national service provider markets.
“Bringing in this team to join and collaborate with our existing team gives us an instant lift of experience in serving the value-added reseller and national service provider markets, as well as increasing our OEM and expanded software market expertise,” said Martin Golobic, CEO of GreatAmerica.
In addition to Fales, several other key professionals have joined the team:
- Taylor Coakley has been appointed vice president of sales. A seasoned sales executive with over 10 years’ experience in the VAR technology space, Coakley holds a bachelor’s degree from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and is a graduate of the STRIPES Leadership Program.
- Kirk Sipes joins as director of business development. With more than 35 years of experience in the IT channel, including over 20 in business development, Sipes is a graduate of The University of Texas at Dallas Business School.
- Cameron Sikes has been named director of business development. Sikes, a graduate of Texas State University in finance, brings five years of experience in the VAR technology industry.
- Dustin Roberts will serve as a strategic technology analyst. With 20 years of experience as a senior IT director, Roberts has a background in AI cognitive services and has worked with companies such as Apple, Cisco, and CDW. He holds a degree from Trinity Valley Community College.
- David Rieck joins as director of credit. Rieck is a financial professional with over 20 years of strategic and tactical financial expertise. He holds an MBA from Oral Roberts University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.
- Jon Anderson and Robert Finch join as account managers. Anderson has nearly five years of experience in the equipment leasing industry and attended the University of Iowa. Finch, with three years in the equipment leasing space, holds a finance degree from Illinois State University.
The new team officially joins GreatAmerica on August 30, 2024.
