Hitachi Capital Business Finance has appointed Philippe Bazin as its new head of sustainable energy.
Bazin brings 15 years’ experience in commercial roles in the waste and renewable energy sector to this new role. Before joining the company, Philippe spent eight years heading up the team responsible for lending project finance debt to the UK and Irish sustainable energy markets and more recently the UK’s nascent sustainable transport sector at the sustainable bank Triodos Bank UK. He was deeply immersed in the financing of a broad range of projects, technologies and business models during his time there.

In June, Hitachi Capital Invoice Finance (HCIF) announced strong growth for the year ending 31 March 2021. HCIF said it had achieved record new business volumes in the fourth quarter having identified new income streams which delivered strong lead generation and conversion opportunities.
