Asset finance provider Hitachi Capital Business Finance, a division of Hitachi Capital (UK) Plc, will host its open day for brokers as a virtual event on 9 December this year.
Hitachi Capital Business Finance typically ran its ‘Introducer Open Day’ as a face-to-face event at its Surrey location at Staines-Upon-Thames, but the health effects of the pandemic, social distancing expectations and the UK going into a second lockdown in November has prompted Hitachi to host a virtual event for its broker network this year.

The open day is for Hitachi brokers and provides the opportunity to meet with individuals from various teams, receive valuable training, as well as learn more about how we operate.

Hitachi said the day will include a strategy overview and an update on new initiatives at Hitachi Capital Business Finance from Sean Jones (head of sales) and Geoff Maleham (head of risk). The day will also offer an opportunity for brokers to make contact with the ‘customer experience’ and ‘new business deal management’ teams, attend workshops on fraud awareness, commission disclosures and financial promotions, receive customer training as well as attend a ‘credit clinic’.
