Aldermore Bank has appointed Steve Halls as business development manager for invoice finance, responsible for the Anglia and Essex regions.
Halls has over 20 years’ experience in SME finance, and joined Aldermore from Santander, where he was director of asset-based lending from 2014. Halls spent 12 years at the Royal Bank of Scotland in business development roles across invoice finance and commercial banking.
He said: “With its focus on bespoke and personalised business solutions, Aldermore is the perfect fit for me. I’m looking forward to playing a part in the division’s continued growth, helping businesses across Anglia and Essex to access the vital funding they need to thrive.”
Halls will report to Stuart Baty, head of business development – south, invoice finance. Baty said: “I’m delighted to have Steve on board. It’s a great time to be joining Aldermore and his business finance experience built up over a career spanning more than 2-0 years ideally places him to take our business development offer forward.”
Yesterday it was announced that Shaun Alexander, former head of risk for asset-based lending at Santander, joined MarketInvoice.
