GE Capital has announced it will support a local charity, The
Julian Trust Shelter, throughout 2010.
The homeless shelter, based in Bristol, where GE Capital has
offices, has also received £12,300 (€13,600) from the GE
Foundation, the philanthropic organisation of GE.
GE Capital will run a volunteer community day to help upgrade
the shelter’s dormitories, and will sponsor the trust throughout
2010 via fundraising activities, clothing and food collections.
“We are very pleased to be able to offer help and support to a
local UK charity,” said Anne Williams of GE Capital UK in
Bristol.
“The Julian Trust carries out fantastic work throughout the year
and the shelter is a very important place for the homeless in
Bristol. We are looking forward to working closely with the Trust
and building this relationship throughout 2010.”
