Leeds-based lessor Industrial &
Corporate Finance Ltd (ICFL) is reportedly one of two companies
issuing winding-up petitions against Pembrokeshire contractor TPT
Construction.

TPT Construction, which was bought
by 21-year-old tycoon Gareth Darbyshire for £7m (€8.14m) last year,
is said to have been the subject of a number of complaints about
its payment record.

The second petition is being issued
by Tyco Fire & Integrated Solutions, which is headquartered in
Manchester and has offices in Bristol.

Both petitions were due to be heard
in May, at Leeds County Court and Bristol County Court respectively
for undisclosed amounts.

TPT is said to have a turnover of
£20m but it is understood the company could be faced with
administration following the petitions.

Complaints about the contractor are
reported to have increased since Darbyshire bought it last
year.

Three more of Darbyshire’s

register and pre-dissolution notices have been issued for overdue
returns against all three.
