UK lender Aldermore has strengthened its asset finance division
by hiring five specialist materials handling experts.
Andrew Woodward, who joins from Albury Asset
Rental, will lead the team and has responsibility for building
Aldermore’s materials handling business.
Aldermore will have the capacity to provide
financing facilities from £5,000 (€5,881) to about £1m.
The other hires are Gillian Coupland, formerly
at GE Capital; Mandy Holcroft, whose experience includes roles at
Barclays Mercantile and Albury; Mandy Woodford, who worked for BNP
Paribas Lease Group; and Linda Hide, from Barclays Mercantile and
Albury.
Prior to joining Albury, Woodward worked for
Capital Asset Finance and at UFB Humberclyde, where he was
responsible for developing finance schemes for Renault commercial

George Ashworth, head of asset finance at
Aldermore, said: “The team will be able to establish a strong
presence for Aldermore in this important market as well as
guarantee to manufacturers, dealers and end-users a professional,
fast and reliable service that is grounded on a robust knowledge of
both the assets and the industry.”
