United Trust Bank (UTB) has appointed Mike Bossom to its asset finance division as a new business development manager for the south of England region.
Bossom has over 30 years experience in the asset finance sector having worked with Bank of Scotland, Southern Finance and as a former managing director of Coachlease. His responsibilities will include maintaining UTB’s relationships with brokers in the south of England, as well as introducing UTB’s products to new brokers.
Martin Nixon, head of asset finance at UTB, said Bossom’s appointment, the sixth for UTB’s asset finance team this year, reflected a "significant increase" in the company’s business levels and an ambition "to not only develop the business further but to maintain [UTB’s] high level of broker service".
He added: "Mike is a highly experienced professional and I’m delighted that he’s joining us to look after a very important territory. His in depth knowledge of the general asset finance market and the bus and coach sector will also prove valuable as it’s a very important area of the market for us."
